Q: Where are you from?

A: I was born and raised in Northern Virginia - McLean. Went to Langley High School. Did my flight training in Florida and now I'm STILL STUCK HERE!!!!...No I really like it here. I currently live in Clifton.

Q: How old are you?

A: I'm old enough to have used a rotary-dial phone when I was still a teenager... 42

Q: How did you get started in music?

A: I forgot to spend my allowance for like 3 months and when I found out I had over $100, I went to Giant Music in Falls Church to buy this piece-O-shizzle guitar... my dad stopped me and he secretly bought me a Les Paul and gave it to me for Christmas a month later.  That was 1979... so 31 years ago.  I've played in several local hard rock bands ever since.

Q: What is something you enjoy but are embarrassed to admit?

A: I love to arrange flowers. I did it for a living for several years...yes I'm straight.

Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?

A: I used to arrange flowers for a living.

Q: What gear do you use?

A: the usual suspects:

guitar - Gibson Les Paul, Fender Stratocaster

amp - a Frankensteined 100 watt tube head that will probably electrocute me one day

Q: What is your favorite color?

A: Blue.....no Red AAAHHHHHHHH (sound of person falling into gorge)

Q: What are your favorite foods?

A: Pig done over a spit, yardbird of any kind, you know .... redneck food!!

Q: Other than music, what are your interests?

A: I like to play ice hockey, which makes me a Washington Capitals fan. I'm a big history buff ... I am in a Revolutionary War reenacting group - the First Virginia Regiment 1va.org , I love to build cars - mostly pre-1970. I'm one of those crazy gun nuts - I still do some competetive shooting.

Q: What are some of your favorite movies?

A: Pulp Fiction, The Wizard of Oz (that witch still scares the shit outa me), A Bridge Too Far, Master and Commander, Pale Rider, Star Wars ... you know... guy movies.

Q: What is your favorite guitar solo?

A: Red House - Jimi Hendrix
